Ateh Okono Guylainne, known by her stage name Okono Guylainne, is a student at the University of Buea, where she is pursuing a degree in Special Education. Born on May 29, 2004, in Ekondo Titi, Guylainne is the third of six siblings. Her passion for music has been a constant driving force, fueling both her academic and artistic journey.
In 2018, at just 14 years old, Guylainne entered the B3 Entertainment competition, where she not only competed with other rising stars but also composed her first original song. This experience taught her invaluable lessons in resilience, stage presence, and the ability to turn mistakes into creative opportunities.
She continued to develop her craft, participating in various online competitions, where she consistently secured 3rd place. Her big breakthrough came in 2020 when she won 1st place at the BP Entertainment competition, which elevated her profile in the gospel music community. She went on to secure 3rd place in the G4L competition in 2022 and returned in 2023 to claim 1st place, further solidifying her place as a rising talent in the industry.
In 2025, Guylainne’s hard work and dedication paid off when she was officially signed by BP Conceptz Global, a major gospel music platform, marking a significant milestone in her career.
This partnership is set to amplify her music ministry and expand her reach to a global audience.
